A Big Guy

I ran across this big bad guy while exploring and old building in the Sonoran desert just outside of Tucson, Arizona, it was one of two snakes I found undergoing the skin shedding process which is the reason for the blue eyes.

A Diamond In The Rough

I use to live just outside of Tucson, Arizona and I very much enjoyed exploring old mines and caves and it was in an old mine that I found this grumpy guy who was shedding it's skin which is why he had the blue eyes.

A fish Out Of Water

Every year during our rainy season our local river the Skokomish just out of Shelton, Washington overflows and the salmon from the local hatcheries escape and are all over the place and crossing all our local roads like this one.

A Little Beauty

I really love these little humming birds but they were hard for me to photograph them as there so quick, so I set up a feeder just outside my window and waited and am happy my idea worked for me.

Beastly Beauty

I was hiking in the Grand Canyon and found this big beauty resting in the shade, He did not seem to be bothered by my presence and allowed me to get close enough for a couple of shots and I walked off and left him to rest in his spot.

This beautiful Golden Eagle was injured and was recovering for a few days in a tree over looking the Hood Canal just outside of Lilliwaup, Washington, I took this shot from a boat not very from it, I also used a camera with a 12 x zoom and a 2 x converter

I-m Ready For My Close Up

I have no idea as to what type of lizard this is, but I found him while exploring an old cave on the desert just outside of Tucson and he seem to have little or no fear of people at least of me.

I was very taken and indeed fascinated with this lizard I found in a cave I was exploring just outside of Tucson, Arizona, he seemed to have little or no fear of me as he pretty much just hung out and almost posed for me as I took his picture or her picture not sure and was not going to get close enough to find out

i'm not really sure who has the right of way here but every year our local river (the skokomish) just outside of Hoodsport, Washington overflows and all the hatchery fish make a brake for it and are all over the place, like crossing all our local roads like this one
