Digital Camera Reviewer

Photobird.com, the easy way to share your photos, is looking for a digital photography enthusiast who wants to write digital camera reviews once or twice a month. You must be an excellent writer and be able to shoot attractive photos, at least as good as the photos in previous reviews on Photobird.com.

You will be provided with a review template and simple instructions that will help make it relatively easy to complete reviews, very similar to previous reviews on Photobird.com. Digital cameras will be provided to you. Although you will have some input into which cameras will be reviewed, all digital cameras will not be available all of the time. The focus will primarily be on small consumer-level cameras, although large zoom and digital SLR cameras will be reviewed as well.

You must be dependable, responsible, and professional. This is a freelance, part-time job, that will take an estimated 2 to 3 hours to write each review. You will maintain the copyright on the photos you take with the cameras; therefore, you can sell the photos, for example. Of course, you must provide a license to Photobird to use the photos, and the photos you provide for the reviews must be unmodified and unretouched.

This is a telecommuting position, in which you work from the comforts of your own location. While this is a freelance, part-time position to start, we are looking to build a long-term relationship with the right person and hope to turn the position into a full-time position in the future. There are also opportunities to expand the position with additional responsibilities.

To be considered for this position, you must provide writing samples, in the form of articles, forum posts, or blog posts that you have written, and photo samples. Your writing samples don't need to be photography related, although that's preferred obviously.
