This was my first day in Lausanne: the swans were swimming around, the sun was setting beautifully, and I loved how the sunlight shimmered on the calm water.

The sun was setting, so I had to take this shot from the Piazzale Michaelangelo. It was interesting how the Duomo rose above the rest of the buildings.

The Coliseum, Rome, Italy
It's pretty amazing to see this structure from a couple of thousand years ago -- especially as it stands among modern buildings and transportation.
