Some tunnels are long, and of course, there isn't much to look at when you're in the tunnels. I rarely wear a watch, and I really didn't care to know what time it was and how close I was to the next city. The sight approaching Lausanne was one of the most amazing I had seen on the whole trip from a train. It was quite memorable. I'll never forget it. Part of the landscape was dark, and part of it was brightly lit. I'm glad a few of the pictures came out, but of course, they don't compare to being there.
