Photobird Photo Contest for July: “Play”

Summer is here! And that means it’s time to play!

To you, “play” may mean more time to go surfing. Or maybe more time to go sailing on the bay. How about some hang-gliding? Or, I bet you like roller-coasters!

If those action sports make you run for the Dramamine, perhaps “play” means it’s time to go camping in Yosemite and see some deer.

Or, maybe you’re just looking forward to seeing, and maybe photographing, the Fourth of July fireworks. (See my article Top 5 Tips for Shooting Fireworks!)

If you’re in the southern hemisphere this time of the year, I hear it’s a good year for snow, which is great of course for skiing, snowboarding, and snow angel-making.

Whatever “play” means to you, it’s the theme of the Photobird Photo Contest for July. As always, the contest is free to enter and there are two winners for each contest.

Each month we choose one Photobird Award winner for the best overall entry, and your votes are tallied to select the winner of the People’s Choice Award.

Our two winners will each receive the following fabulous prizes:

Photobird account with 500MB storage space
• 1GB SanDisk Ultra II memory card
Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson

Be sure to read more details here about the monthly contest, including the rules.

Go here to enter the contest. And be sure to have your friends vote for their favorite entries to help select the People’s Choice Award. (You can send your friends a quick little reminder here.)

If you have any questions, please ask in the Photobird forums.

Now go play! After you enter the contest please!
